Not putting this under a cut since I doubt anyone on my flist will be interested in this movie, ergo not spoilerific. So yeah ...
Step Up 2: The Streets had its ups and downs. The dance moves were definitely better and more street-refined than the first movie. It lacked any real plot, though compared to the first movie. Plus, Chase and Andie (the two main characters) didn't have any real chemistry compared to Tyler and Laura in the first Step Up. Still, I'll probably be getting the DVD when it comes out. ^o^
So anyway, I met up with Momo at around lunch-time in Midvalley. Bought our tickets for the 1435hr screening of Step Up 2 and we had approximately 1 hour plus to kill before showtime. Since Momo was starving, we had our lunch at The Chicken Rice Shop. I usually don't go to gourmet hawker food franchises since I believe that they can't ever top the real McCoy but I was wrong this time. The roasted chicken was really tasty and they even gave us pie tee for appetizers. Good place with a value for money.
We walked around the mall for a bit to kill time before the show and guess who we bumped into. AIDAN. He was with his aunt. Haha, that guy got himself more tanned since the last time I met him. He was there to watch Step Up 2 as well. Whoo~ Yay for cool aunts! XD
Momo and I ventured out to The Gardens after our movie. The place was filled with posh and expensive stores, mostly high-end London fashion labels but there were hardly any shoppers around. I guess the eliteness of these shops scare the idle browsers and window-shoppers away? Haha, kinda defeat the purpose of having a mall.
